Super Star Phonics Reading System includes School Versions of Phonics 1a, Phonics 1b, Phonics 2a and Phonics 2b bundled together for great savings. School Versions include User's Guide and Lesson Plans in a 3 ring binder with step-by-step instructions for using the program in the classroom, black line masters of the activities, lyrics to the songs and suggestions for extra activities.
New features include:
- Pre-tests and Post-tests - These assessments, based on educational standards, pinpoint students' knowledge before and after they take each course, so educators can determine exactly what learners need, and then how far they have progressed.
- Detailed reports of class progress - These reports enhance the Super Star Data Tracking and Motivation System" by giving the teacher the ability to review and print a summary report for the entire class and a detailed report for each student. These reports show the level of completion of each activity in a course and the level of proficiency.
- Speed rounds - All of the "Learn the Words" activities now end with a "Speed Round". This is a 1-minute flash card style drill that tests students' understanding of the words and concepts. With the speed rounds, students can always check their scores, challenge themselves, and continuously improve.
- Feature locks - These enable the teacher to control adding and deleting students, changing students, and more.
