Volume 2 - Isometric is a natural progression from Volume 1. Volume 1 does not need to be completed to learn and enjoy this book. The primary focus of this volume is isometric or three-dimensional art. Isometric line art is used by people in engineering and architectural fields. It is a great skill to have. Like Volume 1, the lessons start with the most basic shapes, cubes, cylinders, etc. After this simple beginning, the difficulty builds and becomes more interesting. This allows for quick successes and fun. Quickly, the student gains confidence and builds on new skills to move on to increasingly more complex sketches. Complete-A-Sketch is reproducible for your family; your child can start working with this book at age 7 or 8. This volume is more challenging and some students may wish to start with volume #2.
