The LeapFrog Tag Literacy Center is a multisensory literacy solution that provides explicit, direct instruction in early literacy skills, including phonemic awareness, alphabetics, and phonics.
The Literacy Center is an engaging and effective supplement to any core reading curriculum and supports multiple learning modalities. It enables teachers to create hands-on, technology based centers for independent and small group work.

(1) The LeapDesk workstation is an assessment, instruction, and adaptive learning tool. It allows teachers to individualize instruction in letter-name recognition, letter-sound association, and phonological awareness. It speaks the names of letters of the alphabet and produces their phonetic pronunciations in the context of specific words. Students are prompted to pick up and feel the shapes of letters, while they hear the letter names and sounds and watch the letters being formed on the LED writing pad.
(8) The Tag School Readers (with headphones) which bring books to life with touch-interactive technology. Students can hear stories read aloud, get on-demand pronunciation for individual words, listen to audio from characters and other story elements, and play fun activities that reinforce key skills. On-demand support, narration from familiar characters, and fun, skill-building activities help students learn at their own pace, developing the confidence they need to achieve success on their reading journey.
