When it’s time for taxes, do you take your documents to your accountant in a shoe box? Do you scramble around searching for your medical receipts? With Paperless, you can create a database for everything – financial to medical to those product manuals for all your tools hanging in your basement. Oh and, yeah, the fun stuff, like your 2nd grader’s pictures and all the other cool stuff she brings home from school. Store and organize it all, safe and secure.

According to ruling Rev. Proc. 97-22 from the IRS, a digital document is acceptable. If you have a flexible spending or medical plan at work, you know what a pain it is when the time comes to submit receipts. Scanners – Mariner and Fujitsu Paperless will work with just about any scanner* through Apple’s Image Capture method or by using a TWAIN-compliant scanner, but we highly recommend that you use the Fujitsu ScanSnap line of scanners (S1500M, S1300 or the S1100). Paperless was designed from the ground up to work seamlessly with these scanners which is why Mariner has partnered with Fujitsu so we can offer the Paperless Bundle. The bundle includes a boxed copy of Paperless and either the S1500M, S1300 or the S1100, Fujistu’s brand new, ultra-mobile scanner.
*Scanner Compatibility Notes
Nearly any scanner will work with Paperless through Apple’s Image Capture method.We strongly recommend the Fujitsu ScanSnap S1500M, Fujitsu ScanSnap S1300 or S1100. We have found that Fujitsu has the best drivers on the market at this time; your results may vary using any other scanner. If you have problems with your scanner and Paperless, it is likely caused by the scanner drivers. Please contact your scanner vendor for assistance. Some issues have been reported regarding HP and Epson scanners/drivers. Canon, Brother, and Lexmark scanners have also received mixed results. As with any of our products, if you are unsure Paperless will meet your expectations, please feel free to download a trial copy to test in your own environment before purchasing. TWAIN scanners are supported but not recommended.

- Intel only, 10.6 or higher
- Fujitsu ScanSnap Scanner is preferred although Image Capture compatible scanners are preferred over TWAIN scanners. TWAIN scanners are supported but not recommended.
