Currently, Cumulus Linux is supported on Arctica 4804iq and more software options are being planned in the future.

Software Options

Cumulus Linux (versions 2.5.4 and above) is a network operating system that provides an open platform for customers, system integrators and solutions providers to use as is or build rack management applications on top.

This is a true Linux distribution, it can be automated and managed using the same Linux tools employed to automate and manage switches and servers in a software defined data center. This integrates well with IT Configuration and Orchestration, Automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet and CFEngine and is ideally suited for rack management with full-fledged networking capabilities in any DevOps Environment.
