Government Stagecast Creator 2 is unique in its ability to develop thinking skills as students make original interactive simulations, games and stories. Motivated by the desire to get their games working, students learn to diagnose problems, employ logic and exercise patience as they design, program and troubleshoot their animated creations.
In project-based learning, students use Stagecast Creator 2 to build simulations that demonstrate their mastery of concepts in science and other subjects. Because Stagecast Creator 2 's totally visual, mouse-driven interface is much easier to learn than a programming language, some computer teachers make Creator a prerequisite to courses in robotics, web scripting and programming.
Thanks to its self-paced interactive tutorial, students at a 3rd grade reading level can learn Stagecast Creator 2 on their own. The Teacher's Guide is provided in both printed and PDF forms.
