Designed to help students increase grammar and vocabulary skills as they strengthen reading and writing ability, our award-winning Parts of Speech includes 32 leveled lessons, with more than 1,000 graded words identified as to part, and all fully selectable by the teacher at any time.
Students identify nouns, pronouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs, conjunctions, prepositions and interjections from word lists and from within sentences and paragraphs utilizing a variety of timed and untimed activities; Word Search, Word Machine, Paragraph Search and Sentence Machine.
The program may be customized by adding an unlimited number of new words, parts and exercises and offers many useful teacher options.
The material is presented in both list (find the adverb) and sentence form and tracks progress for each student.
Progress reports are available and all examples and sentences may be printed out as practice, test, and take-home sheets.
