Build It!
While designing and creating prototypes for assembly and production in the Build It, Research It, and Try It activities, students explore shapes, rotation, and angle measurement. All these areas offer opportunities to develop new problem-solving strategies, including working backwards, analyzing a process, and determining sequences, and present students with randomly generated products that often have more than one solution.
Ship It!
Ship It is an engaging game of logic that introduces geometric vocabulary. Students pack boxes with products that fit the attributes required to fill the order. In the process, they learn to recognize and discriminate attributes such as congruent, similar, isosceles, equilateral, and circumference.
Deliver It!
Deliver It is an interactive strategy game designed to strengthen students' understanding of area formulas and number computation. Students can compete against each other or against the computer in an exciting race to be the first to deliver the product.
