In Ten Tricky Tiles students develop their arithmetic and logic skills with three levels of activities that involve solving sets of numbers sentences. In each activity, students use digits 0 through 9 exactly once to correctly complete a series of randomly generated number sentences. Learning excitement grows as students are challenged to choose a number arrangement which satisfies all the number sentences. Sometimes the obvious answer is not the best fit! An onscreen calculator and a Hint button are available to test answers. Students begin by solving addition and subtraction equations. In the second activity, they balance longer number sentences, and conclude the program by solving intersecting number sentences in a mathematical crossword puzzle.
