In Letterbugs Get Ready to Read early learners build a bug collection by completing phonics and spelling activities. The more bugs they collect, the more they have established the phonemic awareness skills they need for reading!
Students select a skill to explore and engage in 3 skills-based activities that help master the concept. First, students identify the target phoneme. In the second activity, they start to spell words using the phoneme, and in the third activity, they test their reading skills.
With this engaging program, students learn and practice skills in these critical areas:
