The Image Server component provides direct ingest from Image Servers, enabling editing of MPEG-2 content in IMX format. The Image Server Component places a .mov file directly into your Final Cut Pro project bin. File transfer is performed over a Gigabit Ethernet connection for fast transfer of media files.
With the Image Server component on your Mac and 360 Systems' IMX option, MPEG-2 file transfers are easily done with any new Image Server MAXX 250, MAXX 400, MAXX 6T, or MAXX 2400.
