August 17, 2011 - Beware Mac Users!!

I recently purchased this product, only to find out that it does not work with Mac OSX Lion! There are also problems with Snow leopard, where the user has to install a patch. Here is what total training tech stated: "Apple Product Updates: OS X Lion
For our customers who have made the leap to Lion, we are sorry to report a thorn in our paw: our DVD products and our Web site are experiencing issues with Apple's shiny new OS. We are working hard to resolve the issues as soon as possible, as detailed below.
Total Training Online Customers
We have a beta player for you to try out! Look for the announcement to Mac OS 10 X Lion Users on the right side of the Online Training login page. You should use this beta is you have upgraded to Safari 5.1 as well.
DVD Customers
Our DVD-player code base contains legacy PowerPC code which is not supported by Apple's new OS. We are investigating solutions and will implement them as soon as we can.
In the meanwhile, the only workarounds we can suggest are similar to suggestions you may have read on other sites:
        • If it isn't too late, consider installing Lion on a separate partition on your Mac so you can keep a functioning version of Snow Leopard available to run legacy applications such as Total Training.
        • If you own any Virtual Machine software such as Parallels for the Mac, you can run our training in any version of Windows or Mac OS through Snow Leopard within Parallels, and run it simultaneously with Lion on your machine.
        • If you have a separate machine available you can run the training on the second workstation.
Please accept our apologies for this frustrating situation, and thanks for your patience as we work to resolve the issues."

This is pretty ridiculous as they are using G4 code and it's been over a month since OSX Lion was released. Who knows when it will be fixed. There is no information on the Academic Super Store about this problem, so beware.
